Another day in Stoke and Crewe, also visiting Shewsbury and Telford

Not really having finished off Stoke-on-Trent and Crewe last week, I decided to check out the area again ending the day with a few calls in Shropshire before an evening's bridge.

So I set out early to see Jojo again who wanted to check over a few minor details. However although due at her house at 10, when i got there no one answered the door and so I headed off to Unit 10, the former C.J.'s.

Sheila the boss was her usual friendly self and we had a chat about recent goings on in the Potteries, and what with all the recent closures, there was plenty to talk about. Having concluded my business there I then headed over to Fenton and met up in a pub with Kaytee, an independent lady who was keen to see what I could do for her re publicity. It is amazing how everybody seems to know everybody else in this world, since it turns out Kaytee is a good friend of Jojo.

I now headed back to Stoke and Jojo and having concluded my business there I was having no luck with two other calls I had potentially lined up, Chloe was continually busy and the lady I needed to see at the Head Office was absent. Connie, an independent, would be available but not for some time.

So I headed over to Crewe and first I visited Cupid's a parlour with some great girls, but unfortunately was not able to convince them of the advantages of what I had to offer.

I had more luck at Excell, where my good friend Angie was the receptionist that day and after updating their website, I successfully concluded the other business I had in mind. One of their most attractive ladies was on that day. Danni is pretty good in the room, but just has the look of a film star about her, a look that seems to leave one weak at the knees.

I then popped in to see Donna at Brooklyn's, Crewe's other long established parlour. The boss however was still not back from her holiday, so having pointed out what I could offer them, I bade her farewell until my next time in Crewe.

I then headed back to the Potteries and met up with Connie, a very cheerful more mature working lady at a pub in Cobridge. Neither of the two pubs I visited could be considered particularly upmarket, but they were a very friendly load of people in attendance at both.

I now headed out of Stoke-on-Trent and off to Shrewsbury. I came in down the Whitchurch Road and found Tara's with no real trouble. It turned out the proprietress had met me at A Touch of Class in Coffee House Passage some years back and the lady working there had met me at one of the parlours in Stoke again a few years ago. They have an impressive set up and though they have had few if any reviews, have been around now under the same management for longer than any other in the town.

I finally headed off to Telford and Kandy's. As usual Kandy herself was not around and neither was her mother, though I met her sister for the first time. With a bit of luck I will meet up with Kandy again the next time I in Telford in early March.

I now popped around and saw one of my old employees, who was taking a local stationery delivery on my behalf, before I headed off to bridge, where we had an up and down night.
