A day in Leeds
I needed to do an article about somewhere for a magazine I write for, so I decided to do one on Leeds, a city I needed to visit and having done a lot of ringing around the previous day, I set out at around 8 and got to my first call on American Soda of Ashton-under-Lyne, a firm that imports goodys from America such as Root Beer, a soft drink to which I am rather partial.
Having picked up the root beer I headed on off on the M62 across the Pennines to Leeds and my first call on Winston's, the yet again renamed giant parlour in the city that has yet again changed hands. I met up with the new proprietor, an acquaintance from a few years back and we had a long chat about the industry and the economy, though he seemed to be doing well enough. The parlour is something else, operating from a converted cinema in the Dewsbury Rd., and I had last been in, when it was called Churchill's when I did my first appearance on the Big Questions and found innumerable ladies down in the main meeting area, where the clients first meet the ladies. Turning up during the day I just met three ladies, none of whom unfortunately were game for a photo, but nevertheless the visit was a successful one and I did take some photos of both the exterior and the big meeting room in the heart of the building.

I now got in contact with David who runs the noted new agency in the city, Crimson Folly, which curiously also boasts ladies based in Bournemouth. We met at a pub called the Aire of the Dog, which is located on the Leisure complex area just off the Kirkstall Road. We had a long and productive chat and then I headed into the city to visit a gentleman who had invited me to Wild Cats, his Lap dancing club in the Headrow some time back, but whom I had simply not had the opportunity to visit before now. It was an impressive, very luxurious establishment and I indicated I would do my best to co-operate with him to our mutual benefit in future. Unfortunately for him, he has a problem with the local council who look as though they intend to close him down, despite the employment he produces both directly and indirectly in the city and the vast amounty of business rates he contributes. He has potential recourse to the courts to appeal if they decide to do so, but as usual we seem to have political correctness gone mad here. No doubt this will lead to yet more unnecessary expense for the taxpayer or ratepayer.

I now headed off to the south side of the city, or to be more accurate, Morley, where one of the city's few parlours continues to operate. Elle's Angels, was run by a rather bumptious character called Mohammed, but he thankfully has callled it a day and a charming lady called Candice, who entertains herself, now runs things and after half an hour's wait while she attended to a customer, we had a productive meeting in the waiting room, with Jeremy Kyle on in the background! I now headed back into the city and popped into Simply Pleasure, but found they needed no top up and then I headed over to the former Girl Talk, now called Spartan Spa. Raymond, their veteran proprietor, seemed busy enough, but we agreed times were not like they used to be a few years back. He was interested in my plans, but we left it that I would pop back and see him once my plans come to fruition.

I made a few more phone calls, but without any success and after popping over to the location of the former Sauna 2000, which as I expected turned out to have closed down, I headed home getting back in reasonable time.
