A day in Central Lancashire

It had been some time since I had visited Preston, Blackburn and Blackpool and there were a number of sex shops up that way I needed to visit if nothing else, so having rung around on Thursday I set off on Friday morning getting up to Blackburn where I had two potential calls for nine.

The two calls that were distinct possibilities in the Blackburn area were on Sarah, who divides her time between Blackburn and Manchester and Jeanna, who is listed in my book under Darwen, but who has now moved to Blackburn. Despite Jeanna being very keen to see me the previous night, by now she had had second thoughts or other more pressing matters had cropped up and so both turned out to be duds. Obviously as I travel around this island I am trying to persuade working ladies to possibly spend some money on advertising with me, but in this recessionary climate, I realise most would not have that much spare money to spend on advertising, but I do not bite and there are other things I can offer, such as free publicity through the articles I write and if they have websites, extra publicity in exchange for the prominent display of banners etc.

At least when I got to Preston, I found a lady who was more amenable. I had met Nikki once before. She is a buxom energetic and very personable lady who obviously enjoys a chat as much as anything else and she is busy, despite the recession. She had mistakenly thought I had arranged to come and see her with a view to paying for a session, which I quickly pointed out was not my style, but she is a game lass and before I knew it she decided she would show me how good she was at her craft and I was left very impressed, particularly by her oral skills. Her prices are very reasonable and this has to be among the best value ladies I have come across anywhere in the country, let alone in Lancashire. I wondered why she no longer had a website and her curious answer was that she had all the business she could cope with and at the prices she charges, I could understand why.

I decided to check out the only independent sex shop in the city, only to find that the Adult Shop in Friargate is now associated with Alan Butler's shop in Bury. I made a note that I must contact Alan again soon re my latest books.

It was now on to Blackpool and my first call was on Chloe at Unique Girls. This parlour has continued to thrive in recent years and is probably the best currently in the town and after successfully concluding my business with her I headed over to Saints and Sinners, but finding it difficult to park anywhere nearby, I headed off to the town's other indie sex shop, Little Amsterdam, only to find the promenade blocked by roadworks and so after a long and very circuitous journey through the town centre I got there only to find they had only moved a very few books.

I relieved them of a small sum and then battled my way back to Saints and Sinners who with their sister shop in Morecambe made my trip up to Lancashire a decent paying proposition.

I had no more luck in Blackpool and similarly none of the other ladies in Preston were now available, not even Angel of Up Close and Personal, whom I had also hoped to see.

This just left a couple of calls in the Blackburn area. I first tried The Exclusive, a private flat in Bolton Rd., but with no one answering the phone I was obviously wasting my time there and while I got an initial answer from Madam Beverley a.k.a. Tara, she was busy and when she suggested I ring back I found the number engaged.

This left me to visit Accrington's lone independent sex shop, the Book Parade, where the proprietor, Pat, was going to be in. I called and left him some books and then rang Simply Pleasure in Blackburn, whom I had been trying to supply for some time, but whose manageress I had found very uncooperative. She had gone, but the whole chain has apparently now adopted a new buying procedure and so I was still unable to make much headway with them.

And with that I headed back on to the motorway system and home.
