Originally opened in 2005 and now in new premises, though still discreetly located on the Knowsley Industrial Estate, Angel Lodge is one of the most unusually located parlours around anywhere in England. However, do not let the surroundings put you off, outside it may be pretty downbeat, but inside the premises it is anything but, and the new proprietors are keen to get this parlour back to being as busy as it was in its heyday under the delightful Cindy. They now even have a well equipped dungeon. Incidentally the parking here is secure, despite the surroundings and if you are up for the Grand National, this is a lovely place to relax afterwards. And if you are time limited, they even now have a glory hole facility.
